Persuasion Hypnosis

Welcome to the Persuasion Hypnosis blog where you can find all the answers to your hypnosis questions about how to hypnotize someone. I have worked quite hard to provide this free resource and all the information you find inside has come from this online course so feel welcome to check it out.

Learning Hypnotic Persuasion

If you want to learn how to persuade others to do what you want then it is important to understand how the human mind works or the principles of our NLP (neuro-linguistic programming). This is basically how our mind reacts to certain situations and phrases (green light means go and red means stop) and how we can use this to our advantage. I will show you now the basic steps to follow when using hypnosis in a conversation to persuade someone to do what you want. (This is based on Igor ledochowski's theories on conversational hypnosis)

1st step -Learn about your subject
This comes down to asking some open ended questions which are used to get your subject talking about themselves so you can find out more about them such as their likes, dislikes, significant events in their life and most importantly their "dreams" and aspirations. I like to use questions such as "where is your favorite holiday place?", "why is that?", "would that be your retirement location?", "what do you love to do?". As you can see I have created a little story where they open up about all of the issues I previously spoke about.

2nd step - Rapport and connection
This is the part where you create a connection between yourself and your subject by talking a little more about their dreams and aspirations and relate them to yourself in a positive light. This puts their mind at ease, they will drop their guard and start to actually listen to what you are saying simply because you are confirming that you are supporting what matters most to them (their dreams). A recent example of mine was when someone said their dream was to live in Bali and I responded by saying, "I was recently there and I have to tell you that I was getting very tempted to find a way to stay there".

3rd step - Control the conversation and implement suggestion
Now it is time to take control and start to put your suggestions into the conversation. It's all about using positive phrases and words to make them find a solution themselves (with your help). A good example is when they say, "Bali is just a dream and it will probably never happen." My response would be, "you are probably right but didn't you mention earlier it would only cost $X to settle over there." They agree to this and then I lead the conversation and say, "geez property prices are going up in this suburb, if you bought and renovated you could be there in just over a year... I wish I had your opportunity hey." I have put my subject in a position of power where he has the ability to achieve his dream and I do not, this will always trigger them to think about this suggestion and create an image of it becoming a reality because it leads to their dream.

4th step - Close
This is the final step where you confirm once again that the suggestion you implemented is in fact originally their idea and that you will do everything in your power to help them. This leaves them on a high and at the same time in a positive and motivated frame of mind to achieve their goal.

Free hypnosis scripts

There are plenty of free hypnosis scripts out there but the issue is, are they reliable and is it worth it to use them? This is a touchy subject and I have to say that if you find free scripts it will not give you all the information you need to become completely competent in learning hypnosis. Just like anything else in this world you get what you pay for right.

Basic scripts that you can use
Basic hypnosis scripts will give you a set of instructions to follow when it comes to the initial hypnotic induction. Obviously if you are just starting out you will need to learn the induction before anything else otherwise your subject will not be in the right state of mind. These scripts will tell you to make sure your subject is in a relaxed state and to use analogies that remind them of a time in their life that they were happy and relaxed. The script will have entry phrases and words you can use to achieve this as well as tone of voice that you should use. Generally the more positive words that you use (and repeat the positive words that they use) the better the result and using a deeper monotone voice is also advised.

Hypnosis induction and now what?
This is where most people who go searching for free hypnosis scripting get stuck because the next step gets difficult without professional coaching. You see the reason that there is a limit to the amount that you can learn regarding hypnosis though scripting is because to get real results you need to take a course. You would be amazed how much more you can learn when a professional is teaching you and giving you advise.

Can I take an online hypnosis course?
Yes you can take an online hypnosis course and guess what it is a lot cheaper than you think. If you seriously want to learn hypnosis then I recommend the Power of Conversational Hypnosis (link at the top right of screen) simply because it is taught by Igor Ledochowski who has changed the face of modern day hypnosis teaching techniques. Seriously have a look for yourself and take the step if you are serious.

A simple persuasion technique

Have you seen the ads on TV where they say for a limited time only you can receive this for only $19.99! Act now before stocks run out. This is one of the oldest persuasion techniques in the book which is called “fear of loss” and the beauty is that it always gets results. Statistics prove that if you use a fear of loss campaign then you will always get sales and good conversions. This technique is also used by us unconsciously when speaking about certain things especially shows and sporting events.

e.g. yeah the game of Friday should be awesome, you better get tickets now before they get sold out.

I am sure you can relate to this because we have all either heard this phrase or said to someone before and then struck with the fear that we will miss out on this amazing experience.

The NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) behind Fear of Loss.
So the question is why does this technique work so well?
The answer is that our thought patterns have been developed from birth to want the ‘shiny toy’. This goes back to our brothers the apes where they will fight over the biggest banana because they are afraid that there will never be such an amazing banana again.
So if something is perceived to be amazing and there is a limited opportunity to experience this then our reaction is to gain access to this before others do.

Why do we keep falling for the same technique
As human beings we always want to believe that there is always something bigger and better no matter what the facts point to. Common religious beliefs are testimony to this where billions of people around the World stubbornly believe that they will receive the greatest rewards because they believe in their faith that has no substantial fact to back it up. At the end of the day we want to believe so our minds will create a conclusion that what we are being told has to be true because we want that amazing opportunity to benefit us.

When this technique does and doesn’t work
There are always the people that watch the Ads and say, “how stupid do they think we are“. Well this is because this particular item (car for example) does not interest them and can not be related to a positive experience for them. However when an Ad for something that they are interested in is shown (holiday) they change their tune and again fall for the “fear of Loss” technique.

Conclusion
This persuasion technique is one of many that is used on us and always gets results. If you are interested in learning more then I advise researching human thought patterns or NLP hypnosis. Igor Ledochowski would be the authority on the latter and I advise looking at his hypnosis course. (link is at the top right of screen)

Common hypnosis techniques - A Bugs Bunny analogy

We have all seen the Bugs Bunny cartoons where he swings the watch in front of his adversary and hypnotises them to do silly and funny things. What I am going to do today is relate Bugs’ hypnosis techniques and how it relates to the common day.

Swinging watch = hypnosis induction
So Elma Fud wants to shoot Bugs Bunny but then Bugs uses a watch and swings it in front of Elma’s eyes until he is almost sleeping. This can be directly related to a hypnotic induction which is the first step to hypnotising someone. The induction is a way of putting your subject into a relaxed state that makes it easier to put suggestions into their mind. Common techniques used in this day and age is to have the subject lie down and for you to mention relaxing scenarios that they can picture themselves in.

Bugs tells Elma to do something stupid = suggestion
This is the part where Elma will shoot himself in the foot or something like that without being able to stop himself. This is the suggestion part where the hypnotist puts a suggestion into the subjects mind. The cartoons speed this process up but what happens here is the subject is on the verge of sleep, but not quite, and their reaction process is extremely slow. This is the time that you can tell them to do something and there will be little resistance to that command.

Elma is waking up and Bug’s needs to swing the watch again = contact
This is when it has been a little time and Elma starts to realise what he is doing and begins to ‘wake up’. Bugs then needs to induce him again which correlates to contact. You need to be in control as the hypnotist and if the subject starts to control their thinking pattern without your suggestion you will lose them. Make sure that if you are hypnotising someone to constantly be in control and do not let your attention waver. Many hypnotists keep eye contact as much as possible because it keeps them focused on what they are doing.

Other hypnosis techniques
I hope the Bugs Bunny analogy was helpful in describing these common techniques. There are many other ways to persuade someone to do what you want including yourself (self hypnosis). Once you get better you can even skip the hypnosis induction and implement suggestion successfully! This is a little more advanced but trust me anyone can learn.

Hypnotic Persuasion

If you want to be able to persuade people to do what you want and predict their reactions before they do then persuasion using hypnosis is what you need.

Hypnotic persuasion is a method that uses confusion techniques to manipulate people to think how you want them to. Generally the majority of people have the same thinking and reaction patterns which makes it easy to persuade nearly anybody by using hypnotic techniques.

Some basic conversational hypnosis techniques
Hypnosis is about understanding our thinking patterns (neuro-linguistic programming) so that we can use common triggers to change our perception.

A good example of a common thinking pattern is that red triggers our reaction to stop and green accordingly to go.

Hypnotic inductions are a common way to prepare someone to be hypnotised. This involves putting someone into a relaxed state where their mind is more open to suggestion. You can probably relate to this when you are lying on the beach with your partner and soaking in some sun. Your partner mentions spending a lot of money, you do not really have, on fine dining that night. Generally you would oppose this suggestion but you are feeling great and relaxed and agree it would be a good idea.
A common induction technique is to have someone sitting down and reminding them of a time in their life that gave them joy. Push this experience until you get a reaction out of them that is a smile and how it brings back great memories. You have put them into a relaxed state and now it is time to put in some suggestions.

Suggestion and Misdirection - Ok so you have your “subject” in a relaxed state and they are open to suggestion. You do not want to just say what you want them to do but to lead the conversation in a direction towards your suggestion.

Example: Your children sound amazing and it’s so important to plan their future isn’t it… If only my parents had got some professional advise to plan my future it would have made such a difference. I heard of this great financial planner who I will definitely recommend to you because he is the best. I will check if he is available in the next week but it is going to be tough, but for you I will make the effort.

As you can see the positive was used to misdirect and lead into the suggestion and a story was created with a positive solution for the “subject”.

Learning these persuasion techniques
So if you want to learn how to persuade pretty much anyone you want then you should definitely check out the “power of persuasion” or the “power of conversational hypnosis” (link at top/right of screen).

How to stop smoking using hypnosis

Smoking is one of the biggest addictions that is world wide, which suit’s the cigarette companies but this is a habit that does you nothing but damage so how can you use hypnosis to quit?

There are 2 options available:
1) self hypnosis
2) hypnotherapy

Using self hypnosis to quit smoking
This technique is the cheaper option but requires you to remember to use the principles everyday. So the key here is to make a note of when you smoke, is it when you stress, is it a social situation, is it after a coffee, bottom line what causes you to want to have a smoke.

The next step is to write down these triggers so that you can be aware of them the next time you smoke. Now you know and realise your trigger you need to find a different reaction to associate with it that is not smoking.
E.g. Just had a coffee and need a smoke should change to just had a coffee and I need a drink of water.

This is a simple example but it helps to illustrate how you can change your thinking and reaction.
The way the self hypnosis works is to remind yourself everyday about your triggers and say out loud what your preferred reaction will be. When you feel the craving remind yourself again your preferred reaction and continue to say it until you do it. After doing this for a while you will automatically react in the preferred way without having to think about it and hence stopped your smoking thanks to self hypnosis.

Hypnotherapy
This would be a bit more expensive but it is a good option if you do not have the discipline for the above method. You put yourself in the hands of a professional who will use the same technique described above and will make sure that your thinking patterns change for the better.

Where can I learn self hypnosis?
The best course at the moment is the ‘Power of Conversational Hypnosis’ (link at the top right of this screen) when it comes to learning to hypnotise yourself and others so definitely check it out.

Using hypnosis for stress relief

If you are suffering from stress and there is nothing that helps then it is wise to look at hypnosis for relief.

Firstly what is stress?
Stress is when you have responsibilities and/or tasks that you need to achieve and if you do not there will be certain consequences. Your stress is how you deal with this situation and how much you worry and have a negative reaction to it. Most people stress about work because they have targets and deadlines and their job is at risk if they do not achieve them. This directly links to debt repayments which can not be paid if there is no income. As you can see stress is thinking about a situation in negative way that leads to what can possibly go wrong. This leads to this negative being associated to every situation and therefore creates a cycle that continues.

How can hypnosis help?
So what does hypnosis do? It uses our neuro-linguistic programming and “reprograms” us in a way. So when it comes to stress hypnosis is used to start changing the negative with responsibilities and tasks into positives with challenges. It is all about making your psychological reaction to these things change, which involves changing your thinking process. So in effect after multiple hypnosis sessions you will start to block out the association of stress in relation to work and focus on other positives such as upcoming holidays, how secure the job is, a happy family life (basically whatever works for you).

Can anyone use hypnosis for stress relief
The answer is a definite yes! We all have our own psychological barriers that can be pulled down as long as we believe in the treatment. Have a look at the link to the right for some more information about a course that will give you results.

Conversational Hypnosis

This is a form of hypnosis that is designed to allow you to persuade someone in one sitting and without their knowledge.

Background
This unorthodox form of hypnosis was originally created by therapist Milton Erickson who dealt with war veterans post WWII and post traumatic stress. He did not believe in using hypnotic inductions but instead used confusion techniques, analogies and forced his subjects to question themselves. This has been passed on by present day hypnotherapist Igor Ledochowski who is now the authority on conversational hypnosis.

How does it work?
The way it works is that you can meet a complete stranger and in one conversation convince them to do what you want with out them realising. This persuasion technique can be used in a sales pitch, picking up someone in a bar/club, convincing anyone to do anything really. It’s all about using a person’s thinking processes against them which forces them to question their decisions and in this way you can use your own suggestions to persuade them. (Ok so what the heck does that mean? I will give an example below to make it easier to understand.)

Conversational hypnosis example - convincing someone to go on a holiday
So the beginning is hearing about the persons problems as to why they can not go on a holiday such as: to busy, not enough money, wrong time of year, do it another time if they will ever get the time off.
So now you have to make this person questions themselves so what you do next is confirm their negative reasons to a degree where it is ridiculous and there is no hope. As human beings we like to complain but we never want to confirm that our ’wants’ will never happen so this will force the person to question themselves and try to find a solution.
They will start to figure out that they have some leave saved up and also have a little savings that they can use so it is actually quite a possibility. Then you confirm their solutions and agree that you are wrong and they are right because the next best thing that we like to hear as humans is how great we are, this technique never gets old.
So now that you have confirmed their great idea and they are feeling good about how clever they are they will go through with it because they do not want to look stupid.

What is a good learning resource?
The person you want to learn from is Igor Ledochowski because he is the world authority on conversational hypnosis as I mentioned earlier. He developed a course called the ‘Power of Conversational Hypnosis” that is definitely worth checking out.

Self Hypnosis - My Experience

Can you hypnotise yourself? Can you create suggestions in your own mind to make yourself better at something or stop a bad habit? The answer is yes!

This form of ‘self therapy’ is done everyday and it is just a matter of allowing your mind to break down your psychological walls. I guess the best example is when you see professional sports people before a competition and they are speaking to themselves and are having some alone time. Personally I have been a competitive gymnast for over 10 years and I actually used to use self hypnosis myself. It would be the warm up time and I would be stretching out, this is the time that you feel the most pressure… the anticipation and it gets to most people. You basically need confirmation that you are prepared and that everything will be fine, that you are prepared.

My self hypnosis technique
I would use my stretching time to put my mind and body in a relaxed state. Then I would confirm (under my breath) “you are prepared”, “confident”, “ready” and “will focus on technique”. These where my NLP hypnosis phrases that helped with my negative association to competition and pressure. Needless to say I have quite a few gold medals at home which are a visual confirmation of success and preparation paying off. Everyone is different so I am not saying that these will work for you but you never know, we might have similar neuro-linguistic programming.

Self hypnosis in my working world
I find that I handle stress and pressure much better than most simply because I do not allow my mind to go to a negative place. Of course I am human and sometimes I might slip but if it happens I take a little time to myself and use positive suggestive phrases to remind myself that these issues are actually a positive that can be overcome. It works and all I can say is that people who have listened to me and genuinely try to do the same are also finding success with this self hypnosis technique.

Where can you learn self hypnosis principles?
These principles can definitely be learned by anyone and if you to genuinely want to learn them then I would recommend having a look at the conversational hypnosis link to your right, it is used by thousands of people world wide.

Self hypnosis for weight loss

When I watch the biggest loser I see the trainers either screaming at the participants or giving positive reinforcement and support. Either way it is an inspirational thing to watch as these people transform themselves physically and psychologically.

Now you are probably thinking, “I understand biggest loser and weight loss, but where does the self hypnosis come in?” It all begins when you see them looking at themselves in the mirror and they are overweight and depressed. Their responses are always that they feel so depressed when that image is in front of them and they tell themselves to avoid the issue. This is self hypnosis because they are actually programming their NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) to react in a certain way to images and experience.

Using self hypnosis to lose the weight
Lets continue with the biggest loser and move forward to when they lose their first pound. The reaction is always that “I think I can do this, I will not give up“. This is the beginning of their self hypnosis journey where they are telling themselves that they can lose weight. The beauty of the show is that the environment the contestants are in is positive and supportive which helps with their change of NLP. As the weeks go by they get more confident and continue to confirm that weight loss is achievable and easy.

Lets move forward to when they have the ‘make over’ and realise that their thoughts are being confirmed and they have changed their psychological connection with weight loss being unachievable. They have been telling themselves that they can accomplish their goal and they do.

Relating it to yourself
If you seriously want to use this technique to overcome your weight than here are some tips to improve your self hypnosis journey:

  • Create an environment where you can stay inspired and confident. (plaster your room walls with biggest loser pictures, goal weight, inspirational quotes.
  • Have written down next to your bed that “I can lose weight and it is possible”, “do not feel down because you can always pick yourself up” and notes to that effect. Having it written down will help you to confirm this to yourself everyday
  • Create a positive response to weight loss and sticking to your diet plan.
  • If you slip and get tempted stay away from negative connotations and focus on being positive to make it up in other areas.

Believe in yourself
That is basically it… Make sure you believe in yourself and you will achieve your goal! Self hypnosis is amazing because you can change your own beliefs for the better so what are you waiting for. YOU CAN DO IT.

Principles of Speed Hypnosis

Your asking what the heck is speed hypnosis, well it is exactly what you think it is… being able to hypnotise someone quickly without the use of a hypnotic induction and getting results immediately. The best way that I can relate this is to the famous Star Wars reference of Obi Wan “you don’t need to see his identity papers” and the storm troopers response was, “we don’t need to see his identity papers.” Is it possible to have a conversation with someone and hypnotise them there and then, the answer is yes.

Conversational hypnosis is speed hypnosis
Conversational hypnosis is specifically designed to be used to influence someone in the course of a conversation therefore making it the best way to learn speed hypnosis. The theories and principles behind it came originally from Milton Erickson who did not believe in using hypnotic inductions and used conversation techniques to persuade his subjects. This has become a very common style of hypnosis because it can be used in business/sales/personal situations.

When would you use speed hypnosis
This particular style is used for situations when you are in contact with someone for a brief period of time and need to influence their decision for some reason. This is perfect for sales situations, business proposals, public speaking (if you are good), and dating.

Who is the authority on speed hypnosis today?
At the moment the most influential speed (conversational) hypnotist is Igor Ledochowski. He has created a course that can teach anyone the art of persuasion without the usual hypnosis techniques. If you are interested in finding out more about it then I would recommend looking at his online course.

Sports hypnosis

This is a form of coaching and it can also be used by athletes when they want to improve their performance or training.

Hypnosis as a coach
The 2 most important things that you can teach to your athletes is confidence and technique. I mean an athlete with the perfect technique is brilliant but if they have little confidence then they will never win.

Associate positive suggestion with the correct technique

Most coaches use the negative connotation with the wrong technique being used and this becomes a problem with the neuro linguistic programming of the athlete. So what this means is that the athlete is reminded of what they are doing wrong not what they are doing right and this creates a negative reaction to doing that particular move or skill.

Positive example:

I began coaching a squad of boys (gymnastics) and they had been coached with negative suggestion so they where always saying what they could not do. I began highlighting when they did something right and if they did incorrect technique I would not say “wrong” but divert their attention by saying,” just focus on this one thing.” Once they focused on one thing they are usually successful and then I give positive feedback, “great job, perfect, that is so much better,” and they remember the positive experience with that particular move.

A coaches example will rub off on the athletes
This is where self hypnosis comes in and your athletes will begin to use positive association on themselves. I began to see it in my boys after they began to improve. I would give them a program to do and they would make sure that they did it, if a skill became difficult then they would stay positive and say “I can do this” instead of “it’s to hard“.

Constant use of positive persuasion
Make sure that as a coach you constantly use positive association and encourage your athletes to do so. It is especially important when it comes to competition because this is where their confidence has to be at its highest. All I can say is results speak for themselves and that is what I have gotten with this particular technique.

Beware of free hypnosis

Yes there is such a thing as free hypnosis but that is coming from people who do not know what they are talking about. Professional hypnotists will never give their secrets away for free so if you are looking for a free ride stop now.

So is there any free hypnosis information
Yes there is tones of information that is out there that you can find but it is educational and will give you information about hypnosis, not how to do it.
If you seriously want to learn how to hypnotise then you need to take a course… a course from a real professional.

How can I find an affordable course?
It depends on what you want to learn,

  • Stage Hypnosis

  • Persuasion Hypnosis
  • Conversational Hypnosis
  • Self Hypnosis
  • Hypnotherapy

If you are interested in learning the first 4 options then yes there is quite an affordable option. One of them is to your right so I would suggest taking a look.

If its hypnotherapy you are after then I would suggest having a look at a hypnotherapy school or you can ask a Therapist if they can give you a referral.

Learning with Online Hypnosis

If you are interested in learning hypnosis online then you must be sure that you get the correct referral. Don’t worry look at the link to conversational hypnosis because that is the best online hypnosis course you can find... hands down!

I am guessing that you are:

  • looking to learn some tricks that can help in persuading other people.

  • You don’t have too much money in your pocket to fork out for ongoing lessons.

  • You want easy and immediate access to this information.

Well good work because I did the same thing and I came across the power of conversational hypnosis. It has some audio CD’s and it is a downloadable course that you can get, and more importantly it works.

Note
There are many online hypnosis courses that are crap, to put it plainly.

Beware of courses that do not give support and only give a PDF download.

If there is an option of a hypnosis club support then that is usually the best way to go.

Stage Hypnosis

I remember my mate being hypnotised on stage at a show and it was hilarious. He said, “I knew what I was doing but I could not stop.” Performing hypnotists are a special breed because they are the ones who put in the practice and become as good as they are.

How is stage hypnosis different?
Stage hypnosis is done for entertainment purposes opposed to hypnotherapy which is done for therapeutic reasons.
Usually when someone is willing to be hypnotised they do not try and fight the hypnotic induction, therefore their mind is more open to influence. With stage hypnosis you can bet that your subject will nearly always try and fight your influences so as a hypnotist you have to be very well trained, however the rewards are very nice. You can get paid up to $3000 a show which definitely makes practising worth your while.

Stage hypnosis is a performance
The whole point of this activity is to entertain an audience so as a performer you need to be able to engage the crowd as well as your hypnosis subject and create a story that will keep people in the seats. The best stage hypnotists will hypnotise several people at one time… wow is all I have to say about that.

Do you want to become a stage hypnotists?
If this is a career that you want to pursue then I would recommend getting training from professionals who do this for a living. If you want a referral then have a look at this hypnosis website.

Online hypnosis

If you are interested in learning hypnosis online then you must be sure that you get the correct referral. Don’t worry look at the link to conversational hypnosis because that is the best online hypnosis course you can find... hands down!

I am guessing that you are:

Difference between Hypnosis and hypnotherapy

Basically hypnosis is the act of influencing someone to react to your suggestions.

Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis in therapy to help people overcome conditions that are related to their subconscious. E.g. smoking, obesity, procrastination, confidence etc…

Short vs. long term results

Hypnosis - this is your short term results.
Hypnosis is used to influence a subject in one sitting to do, or react, to the hypnotists suggestions. You see this with stage hypnosis where you watch a show and the poor volunteer humiliates themselves. This kind of hypnosis requires a lot of practice to learn how to hypnotically induce in a social situation.

If you are looking for more of a one on one persuasion then conversational hypnosis is the art of using no hypnotic induction at all and using analogies, double binds and confusion techniques to influence your subject.

Hypnotherapy - This is your long term.
Most professional therapists these days are studying hypnotherapy because of the results that it brings. If you are suffering from any kind of condition (smoking and obesity are the most common) then hypnotherapy is used to provide many sit down therapy sessions where your hypnotherapist can induce you without you trying to resist. It helps to open your mind and allow your therapist find deep psychological “scars”. Once these “scars” are found then the work starts to heal them and give a permanent cure to your condition.

What should you use?
This boils down to what you want to learn or if you want help.

  • If you are looking to learn hypnosis and potentially become a hypnotist then study hypnosis.

  • If you are a looking for help then use hypnotherapy.

  • If you are looking for cheaper help then consider self hypnosis. (check my other posts for information on this)

  • If you want to become a hypnotherapist then I advise taking a course. If you want a reference then leave a message and I will email you directly.

Using hypnotherapy for confidence

So when we look at hypnotherapy we know that it is about reprogramming our sub conscious or neuro-linguistic programming. Sounds scary but in all honesty persuasion through hypnosis is no different than normal therapy… actually if you are open to change with hypnosis then you are already pulling down mental walls of scepticism.

What creates lack of confidence?
Insecurity is the short answer.
How this insecurity comes about is usually from a bad experience at a young age and this emotional scarring stays with us.

Perfect example:
You are teased as a child that you are not good looking, this leads to eating which creates an obesity problem and more teasing and insecurity. Your confidence about your appearance is not high at all and as time goes by it gets harder and harder to get your confidence back.

How does hypnotherapy help with confidence?
This is simply taking hypnotherapy sessions with a professional where:

  • They will hypnotically induce you into a relaxed and suggestive state.

  • Find the issue that leads to your insecurity or lack of confidence.

  • Give you hypnotic suggestion through analogies, phrases or experiences to detach your negative association with confidence.

  • Continue until results start to show.

Getting Results
As long as you keep your mind open to hypnosis then this particular kind of therapy should get great results. If you want a reference to a good hypnotherapy program just leave me a message and I will email you directly.

Insomnia hypnotherapy, its a genuine method

Insomnia hypnotherapy is something that is quite common these days. I mean hypnotherapy is simply another kind of therapy that people can use to help with their problems.

So if you didn’t already know insomnia is a condition where you can not sleep, if you have seen fight club then you definitely know what I am talking about. There are many “cures” which involve sleeping pills, natural remedies and therapy. So I will chat about another kind of therapy which is hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy - a quick explanation
Hypnotherapy is a string of therapy sessions that you can take where your hypno-therapist will change your neuro-linguistic programming (or your subliminal reactions) in regards to your condition. So therefore if your condition is insomnia then hypnotherapy will be used to find out what is causing it subliminally and to solve this problem.

If you want to use hypnotherapy for your insomnia then you are looking for a powerful method of persuasion hypnosis. You are having trouble sleeping and nothing helps, you have tried drugs, natural remedies, been told to reduce stress etc… hypnotherapy is usually peoples last resort but I have to tell you that it should have been one of the first things you tried. You can’t sleep because there is something that is psychologically affecting you and it is creating a barrier.

What will the hypnotherapy do?
The hypnotherapist will attempt to find what is causing your lack of sleep by inducing you into a relaxed state where your mind can open up. He/she will probably not ask you direct questions but ask you open ended questions that will cause you to question the problem and find a path towards a solution. Once you start to bring up interesting points then the hypnotherapist will probably take more charge and begin to probe these issues.

Cure time
So now the hypnotherapist knows what is causing your insomnia and it is time to cure you. This will probably involve using memories that really relax you and put you at ease and associating those with your routine before bed. This is the process of changing your neuro-linguistic programming. I am not a hypnotherapist so if you are looking for more information I would suggest going to a professional hypnotherapist.
